MeisterSinger Bell Hora - one hand wristwatch equipment with hourly chime au passage
To make a sound signal of the passing time MeisterSinger used its suitably modified the jumping hour module. It was modified to trigger the strike of a hammer every passing hour, instead of the jump of an hour disk. The most important elements of this mechanism are a 12-tooth wheel fixed co-axially on the hour wheel and a lever that moves on it, a swan neck spring accumulating energy for the chiming mechanism, the hammer and gong. The lever "hour strike" gradually slides on each tooth releasing the hammer every hour, alerting the wearer of the passing time without having to look at the dial.
The pusher at two o’clock of the case Bell Hora watch has two positions and allows you to disengage the chiming mechanism.
