To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Astronomia collection, Jacob & Co. introduces a groundbreaking timepiece that redefines the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. The Astronomia Revolution Fourth Dimension is the world's first small-batch wristwatch to feature a four-axis flying tourbillon — a construction that represents the latest achievement in mechanical precision and technical mastery.
The watch is powered by the manually wound JCAM54 movement. Its "heart" is a four-axis tourbillon, each axis of which rotates independently. Two of them rotate in 60 seconds and the other two in 18 and 15 seconds, respectively. The full assembly completes a revolution in 60 seconds, making it one of the most complex and dynamic systems in haute horlogerie. This configuration is designed to minimize inaccuracies in the movement by permanently changing the position of the escapement in space, based on the four rotating axes of the tourbillon.
To ensure smooth and stable operation of the entire system and to protect the escapement from sudden energy surges, the tourbillon is fitted with a patented high-frequency constant-force mechanism, operating at intervals of 1/6th of a second. Acting as a buffer between the mainspring barrel and the tourbillon, it regulates the energy released to the frequency of the balance wheel's oscillations.
The case, measuring 47 mm in diameter and 27 mm in thickness, is crafted from 18-carat rose gold and sapphire crystal. It houses not only the complex movement but also a spectacular artistic decoration — a mosaic, mirror-polished case back with gold-plated elements in an unusual, inverted arrangement. This underscores the sculptural and artistic spirit of the watch, in line with the brand’s philosophy.
The Astronomia Revolution Fourth Dimension is limited to only 18 pieces and is offered with an alligator leather strap, priced at USD 700,000.

This model represents a continuation of the evolution initiated in 2015 with the Astronomia Tourbillon, featuring a 20-minute rotation, then accelerated to 10 minutes in the next edition, to reach a full 60-second rotation in 2023 in the Astronomia Revolution model.
In the same year, 2023, Jacob & Co., in collaboration with their principal movement partner Concepto Watch Factory, produced the conceptual Astronomia Revolution 4th Dimension model. Created as a unique, one-off piece for the Only Watch charity auction supporting research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy, this concept watch was distinguished by a sapphire ring and an inner caseback set with 35 multi-colored gemstones, evoking the vibrant spirit of the 1980s.
With the Astronomia Revolution Fourth Dimension, Jacob & Co. not only celebrates a decade of innovation within the Astronomia collection but also redefines the concept of exclusive watchmaking.
