Jaeger-LeCoultre has developed a new way to trigger the stopwatch (vertical-trigger chronograph) in 2005.
The stopwatch is operated by pressing the glass protecting the watch's dial. To start or stop the measurement need to press the glass around 12 o'clock. To reset the indication need to press the glass at the bottom opposite side around 6 o'clock. The locking lever on the left side of the case protects against accidental activation of the function.
