2010 - Innovative tourbillon with balance wheel outside the cage

In 2010 Montblanc presented its new "Chronographe ExoTourbillon" model with separated the balance wheel from the cage.
That arrangement of escapement element's made it possible to reduce weight and surface of the tourbillon's cage, which consequently reduced the energy demand (30% compared to traditional tourbillon).
